  • I HAVE SOME QUESTIONS....AND I WOULD LOVE SOME HONEST OPINIONS

    • is it OK to say "nigga" instead of nigger?
    • is it only OK to say it if your black?
    • do you personally get offended when you hear someone say it?
    • does the fact that black people say it make it OK for people of other races say it?
    • does it have the "slavery" definition to you?
    • do you say it?

hmmm....I'm hurt right now, I'll explain later.

honestly, i do get offended when a white person or hispanic person or asian person, any person who isn't black says "Nigga" in a sentence. they say it with such ease. but what we don't realize as black people is they are just two letters away from calling us "niggers". i wish somebody, one of these rappers that society is so fixated on would say something...would make it NOT COOL to call each other nigga. i can't front. i use the word nigga but when i hear another person who is not black use it..i get offended. i don't like it. jus saying.

I never use the word in any form, even if I'm rapping along with a song. I don't think anyone should use the word. It's funny how black folks will use the word all day long but get upset when someone outside of the race uses it. How hypocritical is that?

Then, you have the ones that'll say it's okay if we use it, that we're reclaiming the word, but no one else can say it. Until the day comes when folks will no longer get upset when being called a "nigga/nigger" by an outsider, then it shouldn't be a part of every day speech.

I say nigga and say it often. I get a straight ATTITUDE when I here ppl of different races use it. I tie "nigger" to slavery and have always refused to personally put the "er" on the end. It's a word I really wish i didn't use, but being blk and living in America, you can't really help it.
